About Us

We are a local body of Jesus followers prayerfully worshiping God by faithfully and obediently seeking, sharing, and serving His Kingdom and His righteousness; personally and collectively, alongside each other in our church, our homes, our communities, and our world.

We have many ways that you are able to be involved with us at Utopia Baptist. Most ministries, activities and functions at UBC give opportunity for areas of involvement. Wherever you are in your life, we look forward to worshiping God together with you. The worship we are referencing is actively and continually recognizing God in the appropriate position in our lives, our circumstances, our plans, our decisions, our thoughts, and our feelings. This worship is a pursuit, a hunt in which we are faithfully dependent on the Holy Spirit to continually lead, guide, direct, teach, and transform our hearts, minds, and lives as we discover and grow to be more like Christ. We invite you to join with us as we grow in our pursuit of our loving Father, His Kingdom, and His righteousness with all that we have, all that we do, and all that we are.

--Pastor Jeremy McCarty --

A foundational and continual part of everything that we do is prayer. All ministries, activities, and functions are built on and continue through prayer. You are invited to pray with us, and we would like to pray with you.

A way that you are able to be involved at Utopia Baptist is through the promotion of the ministries, activities, functions, and people that God is using and moving for His Kingdom. Promotion is simply encouragement of these ministries, activities, functions, and people. You have many opportunities to encourage the people and the ministries directly by telling them, and indirectly by telling others what you see God doing in and through the people, the ministries, the activities, and the functions of Utopia Baptist.

Another area of opportunity for you to be a part of these ministries is through provision. There are almost unlimited possibilities of opportunity to provide things such as food, drinks, books, snacks, financial support, fuel, furniture, etc... "It is better to give than to receive."

God has created you to be specially and uniquely you. He has given you gifts and talents that are uniquely yours. We have opportunities for you to discover, develop, and employ your God-given gifts and talents for His Kingdom.
